Rapper Boosie Shot in Dallas After Speaking at Vigil for Mo3

Sources confirmed to FOX 4 that Boosie was treated at a local hospital Saturday after being shot in Dallas.

Dallas FOX4 News reported that the Louisiana rapper , Lil Boosie, was reportedly in Dallas to pay respects to Melvin Noble, who performed under the name Mo3, after he was fatally shot on I-35 earlier this week. Few details have been released about Saturday’s shooting, but sources confirmed that Boosie was treated at a hospital just after 2 p.m. after being shot in the leg.

Law enforcement sources says "...Boosie was shot at in Dallas Saturday, after rolling through town in what we're told was a sprinter van near a strip mall called Big T's Plaza". He's said to have suffered non-life threatening injuries. Boosie spoke at the vigil for Noble at Dallas City Hall Friday night.


Police shut down streets around Dallas City Hall Friday evening for a vigil to remember a local rapper who was murdered earlier this week on a highway.

Police stationed officers and patrol units around the plaza.  


They said it was for security reasons, but did not provide any more details.

Dozens of people gathered to celebrate the life of Melvin Noble, who performed under the name Mo3.


Many held lights and balloons in his honor.
