Dice DaVinci has released his first project "Its About Time" on Dec. 4, 2024.
Houston-born rapper, and artist, Dice DaVinci has released his first full rap project "It's About Time". Dice has been a musician, and artist, his whole life but he is finally giving us an album and it just may be what Hip-Hop needs, a new voice, clever word play, and a new rapper from the South. Dice introduces us to his pain and his purpose with this new album, and listeners seem to enjoy his transparency, word play, and his love for music.
When asked what inspired the title of the album, Dice said:
"I named it "It's About Time" because I had to really be patient and experience life over "time" to create this project. From the intro to the outro....it's truly stories about my real life.
In 2020, Dice signed to Hip-Hop legend Eric B of Eric B & Rakim and SONY . Its been some time since Dice signed the deal, but the rapper seems to be ready to build his name with the release of the new album "It's About Time". On the album, Dice raps about topics ranging from losing his mother, to being in Hollywood working with Mike Epps, T.I., and other celebrities.
Dice's music on "Its About Time" seems to be introspective, yet confident and bravado. Influenced by rappers like Tupac, Nas, and UGK, Dice is a breathe of fresh air to the ears of Hip Hop fans. "Its About Time" has the potential to be the breakthrough project to put Dice DaVinci on the map within the music industry. We believe this project to be a potential classic amongst the recent "new music" in rap. Critics online have reviewed this as really dope music, from a new dope artist.
