Travis Scott and Playstation Team Up

Travis Scott joins the PlayStation team as a 'strategic creative partner'.

Houston Trend reported Missouri City’s (MoCity) own, Travis Scott has signed on as PlayStation’s strategic creative partner, the company announced Friday, October 23rd. A Playstation rep issued this statement:

“Today, we’re excited to announce Travis Scott has joined the PlayStation family as a strategic creative partner. We heard Travis is a huge PlayStation fan, so we started a conversation with him that led to this unique partnership.”

“Through our mutual passion for gaming and creativity, we plan on collaborating with Travis and his Cactus Jack brand to produce innovative projects that we hope will delight our collective fans.”

The Grammy-nominated, chart-topping artist is no stranger when it comes to partnerships and business. This year in September, was the iconic partnership between the Houston-native and McDonald’s. It had been almost 30 years since the fast food chain partnered with a celebrity, last to name was Michael Jordan.


This record breaker, track maker, legend in the making is only getting started.

“I’m really looking forward to being able to showcase everything that Cactus Jack has worked on with Sony and the PlayStation team,” said Travis Scott. “Most importantly I’m excited to see how the PlayStation fans and family respond, and I look forward to running some games with everybody very soon!”

When it comes to video games, Travis Scott knows a thing or two. In April of this year, Scott partnered with Fortnite for 2-3 days for the release of his new track at the time, Astronomical. More than 12 million players were able to watch the live animated, computerized concert & even had the opportunity to purchase some new player “skins”. After the 10-min concert journey, Scott premiered his song with Kid Cudi called “The Scotts” and which available platforms to get it.
